Growing up near Liverpool in the UK I enjoyed nothing more than meeting new people, developing rapport and of course the ongoing banter – which could be quite rich at times in blue-collar Liverpool. It was during these times that I realized I had a knack for both communicating effectively and understanding the intent of even those folks with the craziest of accents! Connecting with people is such an important piece of being a Realtor. All the reseach and websites in the world won’t help my clients understand how hard I will work to clearly understand what they are trying to achieve and to help them achieve their goals. I am surrounded by Realty professionals and hardly a day goes by that I don’t meet somebody new. This has allowed me to bring so much to the table for my clients – regardless of property type, price range or location – I have a great team behind me that helps me focus on connecting with my clients. It seems to me that this personal touch can sometimes get lost in the busy world of Realty but it is still my favorite part. The highlight for me in any client engagement is not the close of the deal – the highlight is that first moment when I get to meet with the person and begin the process of understanding.
